They're Finally Here!

My baby chickens have finally hatched! I waited impatiently yesterday for them to arrive, but only one managed to hatch before I had to take care of RL work, so I logged in last night to check again, and my other baby had popped out of the shell. They're both girls, so no chance of new eggs cropping up anytime soon, but I might get another egg (or two) eventually and see what happens.

How cute are they?!? Azula and Blanca don't do much right now besides walk around and sleep...Blanca likes to live dangerously and wander right into the waves, but she hasn't gotten killed yet, lol. Azula is harder to catch, she ends up under the party deck and all over the place.

Now that they're here, I don't know what to do with them except watch them, and make sure they're fed. They're adorable though, and it's kind of nice to come home and see them wandering around the beach. Maybe I'm feeling maternal or something, I want more cute things to take care of, lol. Hmm...wonder if a prim kitty would get along with my chicks?

I'm having a baby!

Ok, not really...I'm not having a baby either in RL or SL, but I am anxiously awaiting for my baby chicks to hatch! I'm all ready for them, got the food for them and everything, just playing a waiting game right now.

I have no idea what possessed me to get baby chickens, or what I'm going to do with them once they grow up and lay even more eggs...if they even make it that far. My poor babies might end up wandering around, fall into the ocean, or starving to death because I'll probably forget to feed them before I go on vacation next week, lol. I could always put up a fence to keep them from drowning, but I'm desperately low on prims, so I'm gonna take my chances.

Hmm...maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all, lol.

The Big Day!

I made it home in time last night to be the maid of honor at my bestie Synful's wedding, and with enough time to spare to actually know what I was going to do. I had missed the rehearsal the night before due to RL work, so I was a bundle of nerves when I tp'd down to the hockey rink. We all made sure our dresses were perfect, and that we had the right things on, and rebaked a few times just to be absolutely sure.

The bride to be was absolutely stunning, and made it through her inventory not wanting to load like a breeze.

Women Behaving Badly

Well, as promised, I have the pics from last night's bachelorette party for my friend Synful. We danced, we laughed, we wore penis hats. I don't even know if I can put the pics up here without getting in trouble with blogger, but oh well. Here they are!

Anyway, we had fun, and I'm sure the wedding will be beautiful. Love between two people, especially on SL, is rare and special, and when you find someone who can make your heart skip a beat at the most unexpected moment, all you can do is hold on and enjoy the ride. Congratulations you guys! XOXO

Party Time!

You know, it's kind of sad when your land is so full you can't even rez a party invitation on it, lol. I had to go to a public sandbox to open up my bestie Synful's invite to her bachelorette party, and the people around me were probably wondering why I was taking a picture of myself laying next the cardboard man, lol.



Now to find the perfect outfit to wear for Synful's last night as a free woman...and if this invite is any hint as to what kind of debauchery will be going on, I need to find a blindfold to shield my eyes from any stray floppy bits. I'm anticipating a lot of post party pic editing tomorrow, lmao. I only have 10,000 things in my inventory to pick from, so I'd better get started! XOXO

Love Thursday...again

I can't remember if I've already shown some love to this week's topic, but oh well, it deserves another go. I love to dance! There is nothing like a little music therapy to soothe soul, and bring people together. Whether it's something fast and wild, with lots of hooing and random gesturbating, or my personal favorite...a slow sexy song and someone to share the poseballs with.

I don't go too many places these days, but the one club I've spent the most time in (not working, lol) is Blackhearts. It's always packed, but the lag isn't as bad as you'd expect. I did get an offer for a vampire bite while I was there this morning, but as you can see, I was busy shaking my pixel butt for this pic to bother with trying to bite him back, lol.

I didn't stay long, since it's not much fun to dance alone, but the next time I go I'm definitely dragging someone along with. XOXO

Weird Stuff

Ok, by now you know I get bored easily, and my mind tends to jump from one thing to another a lot of the time. I end up at the weirdest places, and had to comment on this. I'm not trying to offend anyone or the roles they might play out on SL, but what is up with the whole pregnant/talking tummy/having kids here? I was looking for something else entirely, and ended up at a store that sold pregnancy shapes and all kinds of talking tummies...you know, the ones that announce in local chat about how your baby is growing and blah blah blah. Usually seen while the pregnant mom is dancing like a stripper at a nightclub.This place also sold prims babies in various skin colors and eye colors, and some even had color change hair, I'm guessing for when you parter up with someone new and want to reuse the baby you've already spent a lot of lindens on, lol. You can even go upstairs at this store and *have* your baby, complete with a bed and a coaching poseball. WTF?

I was laughing at this point, so excuse the bad pic. I thought they were gonna kick me out, since I cammed up to a restricted area to snap this one, lol. Yes, I'm easily amused. If you don't want to go through the whole talking tummy and virtual stretch marks, you can always adopt, and get a little bundle of joy like this one.
