Nude but not Crude

Ok, here is my contribution to the blogger challenge that Marnix came up with. It took me awhile to find the right pose and the right place to run around nude, but I think it turned out pretty well!

Some fluffy clouds would have been perfect for this pic, but I can never seem to get them right with my windlight settings. Seeing pics like this makes me so wish I wasn't landlocked in RL...I could use a day relaxing at the beach right about now!

R.I.P. Little Chickies

My babies lasted about a week before I decided to try and move them. Silly me, I attached them to my hands, and instead of dropping them, I detached. They went into my inventory, where they died....I'm presuming from the weight of all my junk, lol.

Poor little chickens, they never knew what hit them. :/

I <3 My Curves!

There has been some talk lately on a few of the blogs I read about a store owner wanting models with a certain look, and very very specific on the size of the models. We're talking leg sliders set all the way to the right, and the chest sliders all the way to the left, lol. It got me to thinking, even though this is SL, do some people think those of us with *normal* body shapes don't look good? Are we all supposed to be running around with supermodel stick-thin bodies? It took me awhile to find just the right shape, and I am totally happy with it. It's not too thick, not too thin, and I usually look good in the clothes I decide to wear.

Then I got to thinking about RL, and how magazines and television seem to push that skinnier is sexier. You can't get away from it, it's everywhere, and sadly, a lot of younger girls seem to think that's the norm. I see a lot of teenagers that are super thin, and hear normal sized girls saying things like "I'm so fat", etc, etc. Not that I've never said stuff like that before, but I'm a grown woman, and I know that women have curves, and I'm ok with that. I don't always love my body, and often see every flaw when I look in the mirror, but I'm also comfortable enough in my own skin to like the curves I have. Yes, I could lose a few (ok, 20) pounds, but if I never do, I'm ok with that too. Would I like to have the body of my avi and never have to exercise or have plastic surgery? Um...that would be a yes, but that's just wishful thinking, lol.

So to all of you *normal* sized avatars, embrace your curviness both in RL and SL. No one is perfect, and even though we all have what we might consider flaws, someone loves you regardless, and sees you as perfect in their eyes. XOXO

They're Finally Here!

My baby chickens have finally hatched! I waited impatiently yesterday for them to arrive, but only one managed to hatch before I had to take care of RL work, so I logged in last night to check again, and my other baby had popped out of the shell. They're both girls, so no chance of new eggs cropping up anytime soon, but I might get another egg (or two) eventually and see what happens.

How cute are they?!? Azula and Blanca don't do much right now besides walk around and sleep...Blanca likes to live dangerously and wander right into the waves, but she hasn't gotten killed yet, lol. Azula is harder to catch, she ends up under the party deck and all over the place.

Now that they're here, I don't know what to do with them except watch them, and make sure they're fed. They're adorable though, and it's kind of nice to come home and see them wandering around the beach. Maybe I'm feeling maternal or something, I want more cute things to take care of, lol. Hmm...wonder if a prim kitty would get along with my chicks?

I'm having a baby!

Ok, not really...I'm not having a baby either in RL or SL, but I am anxiously awaiting for my baby chicks to hatch! I'm all ready for them, got the food for them and everything, just playing a waiting game right now.

I have no idea what possessed me to get baby chickens, or what I'm going to do with them once they grow up and lay even more eggs...if they even make it that far. My poor babies might end up wandering around, fall into the ocean, or starving to death because I'll probably forget to feed them before I go on vacation next week, lol. I could always put up a fence to keep them from drowning, but I'm desperately low on prims, so I'm gonna take my chances.

Hmm...maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all, lol.

The Big Day!

I made it home in time last night to be the maid of honor at my bestie Synful's wedding, and with enough time to spare to actually know what I was going to do. I had missed the rehearsal the night before due to RL work, so I was a bundle of nerves when I tp'd down to the hockey rink. We all made sure our dresses were perfect, and that we had the right things on, and rebaked a few times just to be absolutely sure.

The bride to be was absolutely stunning, and made it through her inventory not wanting to load like a breeze.

Women Behaving Badly

Well, as promised, I have the pics from last night's bachelorette party for my friend Synful. We danced, we laughed, we wore penis hats. I don't even know if I can put the pics up here without getting in trouble with blogger, but oh well. Here they are!

Anyway, we had fun, and I'm sure the wedding will be beautiful. Love between two people, especially on SL, is rare and special, and when you find someone who can make your heart skip a beat at the most unexpected moment, all you can do is hold on and enjoy the ride. Congratulations you guys! XOXO

Party Time!

You know, it's kind of sad when your land is so full you can't even rez a party invitation on it, lol. I had to go to a public sandbox to open up my bestie Synful's invite to her bachelorette party, and the people around me were probably wondering why I was taking a picture of myself laying next the cardboard man, lol.



Now to find the perfect outfit to wear for Synful's last night as a free woman...and if this invite is any hint as to what kind of debauchery will be going on, I need to find a blindfold to shield my eyes from any stray floppy bits. I'm anticipating a lot of post party pic editing tomorrow, lmao. I only have 10,000 things in my inventory to pick from, so I'd better get started! XOXO

Love Thursday...again

I can't remember if I've already shown some love to this week's topic, but oh well, it deserves another go. I love to dance! There is nothing like a little music therapy to soothe soul, and bring people together. Whether it's something fast and wild, with lots of hooing and random gesturbating, or my personal favorite...a slow sexy song and someone to share the poseballs with.

I don't go too many places these days, but the one club I've spent the most time in (not working, lol) is Blackhearts. It's always packed, but the lag isn't as bad as you'd expect. I did get an offer for a vampire bite while I was there this morning, but as you can see, I was busy shaking my pixel butt for this pic to bother with trying to bite him back, lol.

I didn't stay long, since it's not much fun to dance alone, but the next time I go I'm definitely dragging someone along with. XOXO

Weird Stuff

Ok, by now you know I get bored easily, and my mind tends to jump from one thing to another a lot of the time. I end up at the weirdest places, and had to comment on this. I'm not trying to offend anyone or the roles they might play out on SL, but what is up with the whole pregnant/talking tummy/having kids here? I was looking for something else entirely, and ended up at a store that sold pregnancy shapes and all kinds of talking tummies...you know, the ones that announce in local chat about how your baby is growing and blah blah blah. Usually seen while the pregnant mom is dancing like a stripper at a nightclub.This place also sold prims babies in various skin colors and eye colors, and some even had color change hair, I'm guessing for when you parter up with someone new and want to reuse the baby you've already spent a lot of lindens on, lol. You can even go upstairs at this store and *have* your baby, complete with a bed and a coaching poseball. WTF?

I was laughing at this point, so excuse the bad pic. I thought they were gonna kick me out, since I cammed up to a restricted area to snap this one, lol. Yes, I'm easily amused. If you don't want to go through the whole talking tummy and virtual stretch marks, you can always adopt, and get a little bundle of joy like this one.

I Really Need to Stop

I headed down to the Home and Garden Expo the other day, just to check out some outdoor furniture that was selling for a good cause. The proceeds go to Relay for Life, so if I did end up buying something it would help the cause. (Which, by the way, I'm helping raise money in RL for the Relay for Life to help my co-worker and Facebook buddy who has cancer. If you want to donate, IM me inworld for a link to the page!)

Anyway, back to the subject. I saw two things I really wanted, but I'm lacking the prims for them both, but I know where to go if I ever get bigger land. One is this awesome tree that has some cute poses built into it. Perfect for those lazy days just sitting around with friends and shooting the breeze.

The other was this house, which I want in the worst way. I don't have either 2500L or 200+ prims to spare, but just look!

I should have taken more pics, but I got sidetracked once I looked up the builder and ended up on the Costa Rica Sim, which will be a post for another day, lol. *sighs* It sucks to have a prim budget to stick to in SL. A girl can dream though! XOXO

All Dressed Up and No Place to Go

I've been looking through my inventory lately, and doing a little cleaning, and one thing I have a ton of (and I mean a TON!) is evening gowns. I don't know why I keep getting them if I never have a chance to wear them. It's not like I ever go to formal events, or balls, or what ever. I love them though, and wanted to get dressed up last night and maybe do something special.

I even found somewhere nice to go...but sadly, I didn't get to do anything. I still managed to snap a few pics, just to prove that I clean up well, lol.

Maybe tonight will be better. I still have plenty of gowns to wear, and there is always hope that something special will happen. XOXO

Feeling Sexy?

I've been on SL long enough to have seen a little bit of everything now. Sex is everywhere. It seems you can't go anywhere without running into someone who is either running around naked with a giant (and often badly colored) erection, or their chest sliders set to 100. Sometimes those characters aren't even human, but to be honest, one of my good friends runs around as a bunny most of the time, and he works it pretty well, lol.

Other people play roles of dominant or submissive, for whatever reason their heart desires. I tend to be more of the dominant, since I like to be in control of things. Not to say I don't enjoy the opposite, it's just not my style to let someone have total control of me and the things I do. I love my silks though, but more as a fashion thing...they're just plain sexy, lol.

I was trying on some of the stuff in my massive inventory, and ran across one of my favorite outfits that I hardly ever get to wear. Then of course I had to find somewhere appropriate to snap a pic once I realized this would make a good blog post, lol.

I really need to find an excuse to run around in this again. Something about not wearing underwear in public can be quite liberating, lol.

Of course, sexiness to one person might not be to someone else, and that's fine. Sexy isn't really about what you wear, or the kinks you're into, or anything else. It can be something as simple as the way someone or something makes you feel...seduce my mind, and the rest will follow.

Love Thursday!

This one was easy! I love my Stiletto Moody shoes! I wear them almost all the time, and they look amazing with almost anything...or sometimes just with nothing else but a smile. ;)
Although I can't quite get the feet to match my legs despite numerous tries, I still wear them and will keep in wearing them. Now to find a pair like this in RL...wonder if I'd walk around the house naked with them on?

Hmm...

Mondays just suck, but when the sun hasn't been out for days, it just makes it that much worse. Nuff said.
